Winter Training Starts Soon!

While we are still waiting for a proper summer to appear, the winter training programme looms ever nearer.  Always the traditionalist, Pete Dearing has confirmed that winter training will commence as usual, nine days after the Major Stone Half Marathon.  The first date will be Tuesday, 1st September, speedwork, and hillwork on Thursday 3rd.

The locations are, Amsterdam Road, Sutton Fields near the recycling centre and Sutton Road, Leads Road junction respectively.

Timings have changed this year, leaving club at six thirty for a 6:45 or 6:50 start if you wish to make your own way there.

Pete is hoping for a bumper turnout and has tried to accommodate both six and seven o’clock training groups with this revised timing.

Regulars already know the benefits of this type of training, newer members may like to give it a try, to improve strength, stamina and speed.

So, come on down everybody lets make it massive!
