The Yorkshire Coast 10k 2016

The last weekend of October was a dilemma which I suppose lots of Harriers had, should I go to the fun filled weekend in the Dales with the EHH Massive, to take on the tough hills and conditions of the 3 Peaks, or do the local Haltemprice 10K with it’s own challenge of hills or a fast, flat and potential PB course of the McCain Yorkshire Coast 10K in sunny Scarborough? Well I wanted to do all three but I entered the Scarborough race first so I stuck with that choice.

Clubhouse Closure

At the committee meeting tonight we made the decision to close the clubhouse to members from now until the day of the barbecue (20th August) to allow the decorating to proceed at pace and without having to make allowances for runners on various days.

Thank you for your co-operation in this matter and please spread the word around your non-Facebook friends. Any questions, please direct to me in the first instance.
Please note that hill work will continue on Thursdays as usual

9 Crazy Days in March

My partner in crime, James Pearson, had the crazy idea of running 4 marathons in 9 days. The idea came about back in 2015. The plan was to run 2 days of the Enigma Weak at the Knees series, Sunday of the Gin Pit double and Codopoly on the Tuesday.
